Stay away......This punk AJ answered the phone saying “Nah man, we ain’t goin to refinad anything” completely disrespectful. The sent me 8 Sauvignon Blanc, 2 Riesling, and 2 gwertsraimer grape plants that were all red grapes when their all White grapes.

The owner would return my call.

Do not buy from them. They are malicious and they intentionally deceive.

Bad Seller - Never Again Bought 8 Reliance Grape Vines; 2 lived

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Been growing grapes for over 55 years for home use and giving some away. Bought 8 Reliance Grape Vines from TyTy in 2017.

Some were 100% DEAD upon arrival. Several phone calls went unanswered and voice mail was often full. Of many emails I sent and 3 months later, one email was answered. I was told " Ship the 6 dead vines back to TyTy for them to be sure they were dead.

If they were confirmed dead, the replacements would be sent, but only if I paid another $29.95 shipping to Florida. I had already paid over $100 for only 2 live vines.

On the other hand, I've bought grape vines (Reliance and Concord) over the years (including this year) from a mail order catalog from a Northern state, and not One has ever died. I have been growing Concord Grapes since 1960. Concord grapes have seeds in them, so I began growing Reliance Grapes.

If you want live grape vines shipped to you in good condition, I would suggest shop some place other than TyTy. You decide.

Update, I heard back finally after 3 emails to their Customer service and they basically blew me off and said nothing was wrong with the plants they sent and that they would grow (the specimens I complained about still show no signs of life). Again my advice STAY AWAY...

UPDATE I wrote 2 emails to the company about my dissatisfaction with my order and I have not heard back from them. I tried calling and have only gotten a recorded message and I wasn't able to leave a voicemail.

Original review May 24, 2018
I ordered 1 clump of bamboo at over 50$ and got a clump of roots with 2 tiny almost dead stalks, a Hydrangea that was supposed to be "1 gallon" size, it was a tiny sapling with 2 branches and diseased leaves, and the bulbs were split into pieces and while 1 was a healthy sized bulb (if intact) the second was small in comparison -less the half the size of the first one- and broken as well. This was my second order and my last from TyTy, the first order I got was really no better.

My 1st order was also a bamboo, that one has yet to put up any new shoots, I ordered 2 shrubs that were of nice size but a very small root system. They to had diseased/distressed leaves and 2 months later there is only a little new growth so there is hope that they will come back. None of the plants received are ready to be planted in the ground, they need nursery care to have a chance of surviving. Find another nursery to fulfill your gardening needs!

I cannot stress enough to stay away from these shysters. Thank you

Worst customer service anywhere

Purchased a couple of bare root trees from this outfit in March of 2018. The trees (sticks) arived in early April with no sign of life but I planted them anyway hoping they were just in a dormant state. By mid June, not only were they had to show any signs of life. I reported the issue as a "warranty" claim and was told they wouldn't even look at my claim for at least 90 days after the delivery date. After waiting the 90 days and missing the seasonal opportunity to replant, they issue me a store credit for the purchase price of the trees minus shipping costs and then informed when I reordered replacements that I would have to wait until December before they could send the replacements. Had to use part of my store credit to cover the shipping costs which resulted in ordering lower cost trees and now can't do anything until March of 2019 when I find if the replacements are dead as well? Completely unacceptable.

Ordered couple of palms from them, shipping was ok , altho they don t ship in pots , just bare roots with some water gel around them , but they arrrived relatively ok . Afterwards i found the same palms at Home Depot for 1/4 of their price ,and they were even bigger and looked healthier but they wouldn t offer any discount or price match . Their return window is only 3 days so beware !on top of that they only publish the 5 star positive reviews on their site even after i insisted on them publishing it . They blame the IT department and just postpone you with everything . Customer service is also very deceptive and stopped responding . Stay away !

I would not recommend this company to anyone...

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I ordered 4-5 foot cypress and birch trees. Not one was even close to being 4-5 ft.

Mostly just 3 ft and that was including the root. There were no hair roots at all. Trees were as thick as a pencil. Very disappointed in the quality.

I went to wal-mart and bought the same trees for basically the same price... thick as a broom stick, actually had a root system and also provide a year guarantee . Have had trees in ground now for 2 months, no leafing yet. Regarding the thickness, they are so thin a rabbit can bite the tops off.

Yes, I'm upset as i spent some good money on these. I couldn't fine any reviews on their site...

hmmm, probably a good reason for that. Thanks

Terrible terrible terrible sevice!! on two different orders one took over one month to receive one NEVER received and billed me double shipping

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I placed my first order on February 7, 2018 on the recommendation of family who have bought here in years passed. All items (they said) were in stock and shipping immediately and charged me over 20.00 for the shipping on this order- I then placed another order on February 26th for another order all of which they claimed to have in stock and again charged me well over 20.00 to ship to me. I had placed a note that I needed someone to call me to see if they could ship part of the second order directly to my mother (and willing to pay additional shipping) as this was a gift. No one called. I called them back to see 1. where was the first order and 2. if they could accommodate my request to ship partial order to my mother. The young man told me they had not even shipped the first order yet and he did not know why but he could go ahead and ship both orders today and since I had paid for shipping twice and mother is closer- no additional charges were required. So we waited. After telling my mother the gift was coming- we waited and waited- 4 phone calls later- much embarrassment over the missed already promised gift to my mother, I finally got the first order pd for on Feb 7th on approx- March 25th via UPS who as we all know ships nationwide in three days or less. ( I am not sure the bamboo will even live- it is a very small plant and was very expensive- and the berry bush I bought was so small, not sure how they can say it is a two yr old plant) Today, April 6,2018 I have again spoken with them concerning my missing order and the missing shipment to my mother (by the way they went ahead and charged me another shipping fee on March 15th but never shipped after telling me there was no need to pay additional). Today, Marlene admits they still have not shipped the items and cannot tell me why but were sure to tell me I would have to pay 10% restocking fee to cancel the order for items they admit they never shipped or pulled from their inventory. NO apology, NO reasoning. And there is no one there I can speak with as her manager is not there and she does not know when the manager will return or if it will be today or when. She has offered me no way to reach or time they will reach me. I was forced to call my bank and place a dispute to recover the funds (almost 250.00 total of the two orders) they withdrew in February from my account and the additional shipping fees they charged me in March for the same order- for items admittedly, not shipped. I will now call my mother and tell her she will not get the promised gift. Thank you TY TY nursery for your poor service. I will never do business with you again.

Dead Trees- No guarantee!!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I ordered a few trees from Ty Ty Nursery. The Magnolia tree was broke in half and the Sugar Maple was beyond dead. Roots were dry and broke off when touched. I called the nursery because of the plant guarantee and they said I need to contact UPS over the shipment. What?? I got no where!! The man was rude on the phone! He told me I need to plant the dead tree and then contact them again just before the year was up to get a new tree. Magnolia tree? Well that was UPS fault and they weren't going to replace it. I will never purchase from them again! The 2 cherry trees we did plant are actively dying. Don't waste your money!!

7-8 ft Green Ash Tree turned out to be 5 foot dead twig

Ordered a 7-8 foot green ash tree and when received it was a 5 foot twig with roots packed in Iced strips of cloth. Also was shorted the extra bundle for additional $19 which did not receive. After contact, I was told I would be credited the difference. After several weeks still no credit. Called back and they finally sent refund check for only $8.34. Planted exactly as instructed but all the shuts had been snipped off before shipping and it never budded... DEAD TWIG. Strongly suggest do not purchase anything from this company as you will most likely get ripped off. I should have checked reviews before I ordered.

DO NOT ORDER FROM TYTYGA

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!! Beware of this Merchant!!! We live in zone 7 and ordered $2396.50 of Palm trees that were all within zones 6 & 7. Pindo palms and wind mill palms are both hardy in zone 7. It's taken 2 months go from we are in the wrong zone, to we don't cover anything in pots... REALLY? Don't you ship everything in pots??? How do you ship plants if they aren't in pots??? From our order, Several arrived wilted with spots all of there the fronds and we immediately notified them upon delivery. They told us that this was normal and that the trees were in shock. THEY ALL DIED WITHIN THE FIRST YEAR!!! and they refuse to honor the plantsurance. Total Scam!!! Don't be their next victim!!! Unless you want to get screwed, order from an honest company.

Unfortunately I’m just seeing this. I ordered with this company and my plant arrived totally damaged and dying.

I contacted them with pictures and they gave me a generic reply. I then posted a review on their website, which they quickly removed.

This company is a joke. I have contacted the BBB.

Perhaps if they receive enough complaints with photos they’ll be able to fine them or take away their license. This company is business to steal from people.
